County and Mn/DOT are
partnering to develop the corridor design concept and complete environmental
review. Hennepin County is the project
proposer with Mn/DOT as the responsible agency for improvements to the state

Project Management Team (PMT)
The PMT is made up of staff from Hennepin County, Mn/DOT, and
the Federal Highway Administration. The
PMT is responsible for the approaches that should be taken to move the project
forward to key milestones.
Highway 55 Corridor Coalition
The Highway 55 Corridor Coalition includes representatives
of communities, businesses, and individual citizens. The Coalition is supported by a technical
advisory committee (TAC) made up of public works staff. The Coalition will provide a forum for
communications between project staff and represented communities as well as
between community interests and legislative stakeholders. Project staff will meet with the coalition
and its TAC as needed to brief members on project status and gather input.
